Hello,
Welcome to my blog: ChristianJoys.com
I have been wanting to build a site that I can share my Christian journey experience and things that I enjoy that God has richly blessed me with. And finally, this site is up.
I am Annelisa Messer and I am a Seventh-day Adventist Christian at heart. I am grateful of our heavenly Father’s gifts that He bestowed me everyday.
What I Love
🌸Kids Ministry
The church ministry that I love to do is the kid’s ministry. I love helping our local church leading the Vacation Bible School (VBS) at summer time.
I put my church family, my kids and my husband to work. During the VBS I love decorating the church rooms and doing the crafts.
I also love leading the kids to do a special praise worship service at Christmas.
🌸Keeping My Faith Up
I love inspirational quotes, stories behind the hymns, and most of all God’s promises. I can’t get enough of His promises and I want more and more and more.
I read the Bible through the year. I already have read the whole Bible many times and still I found more wonderful truths every time I read through each year.
🌸Family, Health, etc
Lately, I am interested in cooking and my grown up kids do enjoy what I cook. I am not really a cook. My kids did wonder how we survive all these years since I was never interested in making meals.
My family is 75% vegetarian. I hate touching raw meat. It gives me the shivers. Yeah, we do eat meat (foods that we are allowed to eat based in the Bible) that are minimally processed. Whenever possible (and affordable) I prefer to procure non-GMO, organics, and gluten free.
I do love natural solutions for me to use personally and for the home due to my sensitivity. I enjoy using natural supplements and essential oils.
I love rain and snow but not the cold. I told the kids that rain calms me down. But my eldest daughter said: “Mom, it has rained many times but I had never seen you get calm.” Yes, I am a very excitable person.
My kids are my inspiration. They are very gifted especially in designing. They are very helpful in teaching me to make images for this blog. They are good in giving me constructive criticism of my work. . .
My husband died on 2018. . . And my God never leaves me alone.
My God is the same: yesterday, today, and forever.
God is good. . . All the time.
